The emotional tune possesses electric guitar-laden instrumentation flavored with alternative rock and contemporary pop vibration. Furthermore, “Not Sorry” was recorded in the At the Woods studios in Rena, Norway. Christine Ekeberg enlisted the help of songwriter, Sindre Timberlid Jenssen, with the writing process. Also, she enlisted producer, Christian Østmoe, for recording.

Christine Ekeberg has been participating in contests from an early age. Her latest participation at the International Songwriting Competition in 2020 took her to the contest’s semifinals. To date, Ekeberg has collaborated with several European EDM producers, among them Ljung (Sweden) with the song “Under Water,” which has accumulated over one million streams. Her topliner collaboration with Ljung connected Ekeberg to Gothenburg-based Rexius Records, a label she has been signed to since 2019.
