Not too long ago, ahead of her solo desert debut at Coachella this weekend, she released a lovely music video for her new “Boy Bye” single produced by Yeti Beats, Rogét Chahayed, Carter Lang, and Kurtis McKenzie. In the C&P-directed video, Chlöe and her girls can be found exacting their revenge on Chlöe’s ex-beau.

On the previously released track, “FYS,” Chlöe vocalized how material things are of little interest to her as she is her own provider. “Boy Bye” further showcases her freedom and independence as she declares, “A rollercoaster ride, we going round and round. I might just cut and run ’cause this just ain’t that fun.” Boy Bye is the second track Chlöe has released since her 2023 debut album, “In Pieces,” which featured her “Pray It Away” single. The project also showcased songs written, arranged, and produced by Chlöe and features from Chris Brown, Future, and Missy Elliott.

‘Pray It Away’ tells a heartfelt tale about a vulnerable young woman who finds herself on her knees praying in the midnight hour that she doesn’t do anything that she will one day regret. She wants to do away with all of the pain and hate residing in her heart because if she doesn’t, she might cause bodily harm to the guy who shattered her precious heart into puzzle pieces. In a dark place, she tells her ex-partner, “Lord knows I’m tryin’, I pray every night, but I can’t help that I’m messed up in the head. Tryna be saved, but you gonna need savin’ ’cause you got someone else in my bed.”
