“Didn’t say happy birthday ‘til it hit 7:30 at night. Then you take me to dinner. Give me flowers you got someone else to buy. Still, wake up in love, I piss you off somehow. It’s not quite enough, too soon to call it but too hard to run ‘cause it always almost, always too close.” – lyrics

‘Always Almost’ tells an interesting tale of a young woman who is in a problematic relationship with her significant other.

Apparently, she’s done losing her mind over him, therefore, an emergency breakup might be in their foreseeable future.

‘Always Almost’ contains a relevant narrative, pleasing vocals, and lush instrumentation flavored with electro-pop and modern dance elements.
