Also, “Florida” possesses soulful instrumentation flavored with contemporary pop, indie R&B, and nu-soul elements. Camille Trust first gained exposure in 2018 when she released her debut single, entitled, “Move On.” The song, also featured on her debut EP, “No Other Way,” accumulated over 100k streams within a few months. Since then, Trust has accrued a healthy social media following.
In addition to being a singer-songwriter, Trust is also a member of the Resistance Revival Chorus. To date, she has performed and recorded alongside Jim James, Kesha, and Carly Simon. Recently, she did backup vocals for Shawn Mendes and Nathaniel Rateliff on Saturday Night Live.
