Bailey Baum is a 24-year-old LA-based singer-songwriter from Dallas, Texas. Not too long ago, she released a sentimental indie-pop tune, entitled, “Bad For Me.”

“I wrote ‘Bad For Me’ in 2020 with some incredible songwriters [Cameron Mitchell & Emily Fullerton] during the process of healing from a heartbreak. I wanted to fall back into the person because I missed them. But, I knew doing that was bad for me, which  inspired the song.” – Bailey Baum explained

‘Bad For Me’ finds Bailey Baum singing about the familiar rollercoaster of emotions that she experienced while trying to mend her broken heart. Apparently, her crushing breakup with her significant other left her confused and devastated. However, during this gloomy moment in time, she realizes that she and her ex-partner weren’t meant to be.

‘Bad For Me’ contains a relationship-based narrative, ear-pleasing vocalization, and tuneful melodies that will resonate well with fans of BANKS, Lana Del Rey, and Lennon Stella. The emotional tune possesses moody instrumentation flavored with a warm indie-pop vibration. Furthermore, “Bad For Me” is featured on Bailey Baum’s upcoming debut EP, entitled, “Over It,” available on July 30, 2021, via Next Wave Records/Ultra Records. The project also features previously released singles, Over It and Take Me All The Way. The five-track project is a raw emotional story of young love, packaged with ethereal soundscapes, captivating melodies, and vivid lyricism.

“No book, movie, song, or person can really prepare you for the emotions you experience when heartbroken. So I wrote these songs as a way to navigate through my own heartbreak. I want the EP to help people feel empowered to get ‘over it’ while also acknowledging how important it is to let yourself feel everything deeply. No emotion or thought you have is invalid, but there is a light at the end of the tunnel of heartbreak. We all deserve to find happiness and peace and fulfillment and that all starts within ourselves. I’m still learning and growing from my experiences. This EP is all about that process.” – Bailey Baum explained

Bailey Baum has a knack for capturing the emotion of what it’s like to be a young woman navigating life, love, heartbreak, friendships, and everything in-between. To date, her singles have amassed over seven million streams. Also, her songs have landed on top-tier editorial playlists such as Spotify’s Fresh Finds, Indie Pop, and Chill Vibes; and Apple Music’s Feels.
