Abbie Thomas is a California-born, Midwest-raised singer-songwriter. Not too long ago, she released a lovely piano pop ballad, entitled, “Coming Undone.”

“I wrote ‘Coming Undone’ in my apartment after a series of failed relationships. Like all the other songs on the album, I wrote all of the lyrics, music, and arrangements. I partnered with an engineer and producer to bring the album to life, and for this particular song, we hired an electric cello player to bring in a bit of a cinematic feel. I’m very inspired by original scores, and there are touches of strings throughout the album.” – Abbie Thomas explained

‘Coming Undone’ contains a relationship-based narrative, pleasing vocals, and tuneful melodies that will resonate well with fans of Birdy, Christina Perri, Sara Bareilles, and Leona Lewis. The sentimental tune possesses simple piano-driven instrumentation flavored with a warm indie-pop vibration. Furthermore, “Coming Undone” is the first single from a series of three singles from Abbie Thomas’s upcoming debut album, entitled, “Who I Am,” available on June 11, 2021.

Abbie Thomas is a nomad from nowhere and everywhere. Other lost souls may find themselves listening to her original music while enjoying a bottle of wine, on a long road trip, or while in mourning of lost love. Her versatility shines just like a mended heart and turns strangers into kindred spirits.

At the age of five, Thomas played Canon in D by ear. Therefore, there’s no technicality behind her music, just pure emotion, and raw truth. Heartache fueled by a relentless need to heal, her instruments and note pads are her therapists. It’s cheaper and more effective to write than to sit in an office with a stranger talking about should-of and could-of.
