“‘Money Money’ is a tongue-in-cheek ode to greed, corruption, and rampant consumerism. We live in an absurd capitalist hellscape that is cannibalizing itself, and I wanted to write a song that encapsulated that absurdity. I hope that this song will cause people to question how we got here and if we’d like to stay here.” – Transviolet

‘Money Money’ contains a relatable storyline, dreamy vocals, and razor-sharp instrumentation scented with an electro-pop aroma.

The audiovisual, at first glance, seems to feature the current sitting POTUS, Donald Trump. But, there’s more than meets the eye.

“Deep fake technology is powerful and could be dangerous in the wrong hands. In a music video, it’s hilarious, but if misused by a corrupt politician or dictator, it could have catastrophic consequences. It could destroy a reputation. It could start a war. We loved the idea of using it in our video to make people aware of it in a funny way before it was used in a harmful one.” – Transviolet

Transviolet is a name you should remember and a band you should have on your radar.

Not too long ago, they released their debut single, entitled, “Girls Your Age”.

The band sent out 2,000 plain manila envelopes to kids across the country. The envelopes contain a cassette tape that only said “play me”, not realizing that was pretty near to the exact plot of the horror movie “SAW”.

Blogs and press outlets took notice. But no one cared nearly as much as the mothers across the country. Shortly afterward, they took to Facebook to demand answers and threatened Transviolet with legal action.

Hours later, Katy Perry tweeted the song, and a week later, Harry Styles did the same.

A flood of attention came to the band and they were thrown into the deep end that is the music industry.
