“Why are you scared? Don’t you see my open door? I know your pain. The rain is all over your heart. Just come inside let your heart dry under my sun.” – lyrics

‘Under My Sun’ single contains a relatable storyline, delicate vocals, and gentle instrumentation produced by Simon Felice and David Baron. Also, the song tells the tale of a woman who has a warm embrace and loving nature.

“I wrote a lot of this music with some anger, some sadness, some self-questioning. But music puts me at peace and that’s what I want to give to the ones who listen to this album. If you want to make your life warm and happy, you can. You are your own ‘sun’.” – Tiphanie Doucet

‘Under my Sun’ album highlights Doucet’s journey into womanhood following a painful breakup. Also, it shares her intimate experiences of love, loss, infidelity, addiction, and self-doubt. In conclusion, it’s about growth, self-discovery, and maintaining a positive outlook throughout life’s tribulations.
