Sunshine Skinny is a 19-year-old up-and-coming rapper from New York. Not too long ago, he released a psychedelic trap tune, entitled, “Check Out My Glock”.

Sunshine Skinny – “Check Out My Glock”

“Look at my choppa it bang, choppa be giving you pain. Let off a shot and it rang, sending them bullets they rain. Choppa be hitting your gang, my choppa don’t talk it sang. Let it off no one remain, they gon’ clean up your remains.” – lyrics

‘Check Out My Glock’ tells a tale of a young guy who totes a one hundred round weapon for protection.

Apparently, he smokes pounds of drugs, bag fly chicks, and is ready to gun down anyone who tries to test him physically.

‘Check Out My Glock’ contains an urban street narrative, auto-toned rap vocals, and boomin’ instrumentation flavored with backward samples and hip-hop/trap elements.

“I was getting into a lot of fights and losing every time. I talked a lot of shit and I had nothing to back it up with so I purchased a Glock 17. Now I carry it around everywhere and the song’s about that.” – Sunshine Skinny

‘Check Out My Glock’ is the first tune from Sunshine Skinny’s upcoming album, entitled, “Psilocybin”.

The bubbly newcomer’s sound is likened to rappers Playboi Carti and Tay K.
