Somi releases her “Petite Afrique” album [A New African Jazz classic]

Somi is a Jazz singer of Ugandan and Rwandan heritage. Not too long ago, she released “Petite Afrique“, an album consisting of Jazz and African Pop.


The song pays homage to New York City upper Manhattan neighborhood, populated by West Africans and Muslims. Also, the locals call this section of Harlem “Little Africa” or “Petite Afrique”.
