Six Foot Blonde – “Callin’ To Karma” single

“It was last Thursday night when she called me on my line. Said, ‘I’m sorry, please forgive me, let’s just put this all behind.’ It was no surprise, always telling lies. Said she’s at another low point in her life. Who does she think she is? Doesn’t know the consequence of living in the fiction of your mind. I’m sick of hearing of her reactive feelings. What is she flauntin’? Thinks she got options, nowhere to hide.” – lyrics

‘Callin’ To Karma’ tells an intriguing tale about a young woman who has been dodging phone calls from someone she knows. Apparently, she’s sick and tired of listening to this individual talk about their problems all the time. Therefore, she tells the problematic person, “Next time you got a problem, call your mama, not my line.” Later, at a local diner, she sees the person she’s trying to avoid holding hands with her ex-boyfriend.

‘Callin’ To Karma’ contains a relatable narrative, catchy lyrics, and ear-pleasing vocals that will resonate well with fans of Sammy Rae & the Friends. The live-sounding tune possesses groovy bass, happy horns, and a funky guitar-based narrative seasoned with retro jazz and indie soul elements. Furthermore, “Callin’ To Karma” perfectly encapsulates Six Foot Blonde’s live energy.

“Those are all your problems, they ain’t mine.”
