“Every time I close my eyes I see your face. No matter what I do can’t get my mind off you. Can’t sleep ‘cause baby you’re so hard to replace. No matter what I do I choose you, I choose you. Oh, please understand me, I can’t control my love for you. ‘Cause I know that you are the one for me baby, I do.” – lyrics

‘Baby You’ tells an endearing tale about a beautiful young woman who is head-over-heels in love with her significant other. Apparently, they started as close friends before becoming lovers, and ever since then, she hasn’t been able to get her companion from her mind. Later, she admits that she fell for her partner way too easy, and because of that she left herself vulnerable to getting her heart broken.

‘Baby You’ contains a love-orientated narrative, ear-welcoming vocals, and tuneful melodies. Also, the alluring tune possesses melodic instrumentation flavored with a warm contemporary R&B aroma. Furthermore, “Baby You” serves as a wonderful presentation to what listeners can expect to hear from Sheralyn May in the near future as she continues her claim to modern-day fame.

“Please don’t break my heart.”

“‘Baby You’ reflects on the emotions someone may have when falling in love. Also, the song represents how you cannot ignore the feelings and love you have towards someone. That no matter what you do, you cannot get your mind off them.”

‘Baby You’ finds Sheralyn May singing about taking things slow and not rushing with love, but to just accept it and to let it unfold. The attractive song reflects on the difficulty of hiding your emotions and feelings towards someone when you know they are the one for you. The Amber Mic Production’s artist wants her listeners to know that it is important to not get overwhelmed with your emotions and not to overthink it.

“My love for you is endless.”
