Ria Sean is a singer-songwriter based in Nigeria. Not too long ago, she released a cinematic music video for her “Money Bag” single via Aristokrat Records and Island Def Jam (Universal Music France). The song was produced by rising producer, Dehveen, and mixed and mastered by TMXO (WizKid, Kida Kudz, Burna Boy).

Ria Sean – “Money Bag” music video

“‘Money Bag’ is about chasing the bag. It’s about the go-getter part of me and my creativity as an artist. I always want to do something new and my mind is deeply focused on my dreams. Every other thing seems secondary.” – Ria Sean explained

‘Money Bag’ contains a prosperity-based narrative, ear-pleasing vocals, and harmonious melodies. The mid-tempo tune possesses rhythmic instrumentation flavored with afrobeats and afro-fusion elements. Also, “Money Bag” follows mildly on the heels of Ria Sean’s summer anthem, Lemonade. Furthermore, her upcoming debut EP, entitled, “Fluid,” will feature both tunes.

“What do you want, what do you need? I mean, it coulda been worse. I could have been mean when you try me. Why this one make you gimme space? Oh, I don’t regret, did my best. Walai, you burst my heart, Walai.” – lyrics

The Perliks Definition-directed music video finds Ria dressed in lemon-yellow and lime-green outfits. Also, the fashionable audiovisual shows Ria performing next to her chest-bearing love interest, seated on a luxurious hot pink sofa.

“I shine bright like a diamond, baby, I’m the moneybag.”

Ria Sean is one of the first artists to be signed to the recently formed partnership between African powerhouse Aristokrat Records and Universal Music Group. She recently teamed up with Adekunle Gold to feature on British Nigerian artist Moelogo’s new EP.
