“That phase where you’re both obsessed with each other and nothing else matters except being with them. So you stay up all night talking about stupid things just to talk. It’s one of my favorite times in a relationship. I love getting to know someone, hearing them talk about their passions, reading their astrological chart for the first time, and showing each other your favorite artists. It feels like you could just live that night forever – talking about the stars and the universe and how small we are.” – Raye Robinson explained

‘Star Talk,’ the embodiment of the beginning of a budding relationship, emits a sweet, sugar-coated feeling inspired by early Ingrid Michaelson. The charming tune contains a relatable narrative, ear-pleasing vocals, and catchy melodies. Also, “Star Talk” possesses plodding bassline and ukulele-laden instrumentation flavored with contemporary and indie-pop elements. Furthermore, “Star Talk” is the third song to be released from Raye Robinson’s upcoming EP, entitled, “Crushes & Love Songs.” The project is scheduled to be released in February 2022.

“Let’s compare our horoscope to see if we’re compatible. And then ignore it when it says it’s not.”
