“Too high, too fly, when they look up at the sky. ‘It’s a bird, it’s plane’, Superwoman, say my name. He said beggars can’t be choosy. I said it’s Gucci. I’m couture like the movies. Don’t need face tuning, Jamba Juice, looking smoothie. No GMO, these bananas never bruising. If you can’t remember two things, I never needed luck, see my haters, say ‘What’s up?’ Best part of waking up like Folgers in your cup. Grinding everything I got, they gave up, but I have not. Now I rock at the top.” – lyrics
‘Mint’ tells a luxurious tale of a woman who makes money like a mint (a place where money is made). Apparently, she has an unlimited supply of wealth. Therefore, she stays fresh or in mint condition like her economic status. Later, she admits that her material possessions are paid for and not rented.
‘Mint’ contains a relatable storyline, pleasing vocals, and tuneful melodies. Also, the likable tune possesses melodic instrumentation flavored with hip-hop, urban pop, and contemporary R&B elements. Furthermore, “Mint” is featured on Qveen Herby’s five-track project, entitled, “EP 6”.
