Pontus De Wolfe is an artist, producer, and songwriter based in Stockholm, Sweden. Not too long ago, he released “The Moment”, a bubbly pop tune from his upcoming album.
Pontus De Wolfe – “The Moment”
“I had this catchy piano hook that I couldn’t get out of my head. So I brought in my favorite drummer Moussa Fadera, and bass player Martin Höper to the studio and started jamming. I cut it down from about half an hour’s material, wanting to keep the piano track quite repetitive and basic, kind of returning to the same place, the same moment over and over.” – Pontus De Wolfe
‘The Moment’ contains a relatable storyline, ear-welcoming vocals, and piano-hook-driven hook.
Also, the song’s groovy instrumentation is simple, yet effective, and it is flavored with a robust feel-good vibration.
Pontus De Wolfe
“The lyrics elaborates on various understandings of our concept of ‘The Moment’. A moment can be long or short, contain nothing and everything. The world can change between one moment to another, and a moment can be something you try to catch or run away from. The song stops and starts again, examines it from a different point of view. Or you can just bugger that and listen to it as a damn catchy tune.” – Pontus De Wolfe
Pontus De Wolfe has a history of podcast hosting, TV music culture expert, and blogger/writer experience.
His current single is a great indication of good things to come for the Swedish entertainer. His album is due in April 2019. But for now, he’s having a blast and living life at the moment.
