‘Melting Away’ tells a heartfelt tale about a young man who comes to the conclusion that the streets don’t love anyone. Apparently, with a couple of months left on parole, he finds himself in a shootout with cops and ends up in an unfortunate situation. And that’s when he realizes that the protection of his mind is something he needs to invest in. Later, he asks for someone to save him because he hasn’t been living right.
‘Melting Away’ contains a real-life-related narrative, ear-welcoming vocals, and tuneful melodies. Also, the sentimental tune possesses piano-driven instrumentation flavored with a contemporary R&B aroma.
