“Why you so angry baby? You keep taking offense. We’re always in discussion till I break and you bend. The longer we linger on this, empty words in black ink. I tried to write me letters, but it just won’t sink in. Holding my tears back while I’m lying. And it’s like I’m drinking while I’m driving. ‘Cause I’ve tried to run away, but I know it’s far too late. Maybe that is my own mistake. Oh, surely you see I’m scared ‘cause I can’t stop thinking. Should I reconsider? I know, I need some kind of company. Maybe that is my own mistake.” – lyrics

‘Forever Yours’ tells an honest tale about a young woman who shares a challenging relationship with her significant other. Apparently, her partner sees heavy rain and grey clouds while she has sunshine on her mind. Before, she used to be totally absorbed with their relationship and wrapped firmly around her companion’s fingers. But now she feels uninspired and even considers leaving their relationship. However, because she needs company, and doesn’t like to be alone, she feels the need to always keep her partner around.

‘Forever Yours’ contains a relationship-based narrative, ear-welcoming vocals, and tuneful melodies that will resonate well with fans of Klara Zangerl, Tash, and VIOLA. Also, the likable tune possesses groovy instrumentation wonderfully flavored with neo-soul and contemporary R&B elements. Furthermore, “Forever Yours” serves as a wonderful presentation of what’s to come from an artist with an extremely promising future.

“Why you want me to stay in when we can go outside?”

Nona’s powerful voice is reminiscent of the soul legends to who she grew up listening. Her musical taste is rooted in the classics. However, her love for hip-hop and Pop gives her a distinctively fresh sound. So far, Nona has nearly half a million monthly listeners online via Spotify. But she’s pretty much undiscovered both inside and outside The Netherlands. Therefore, this is a great moment to get to know Nona and her music better.
