NGHTMRE & A$AP Ferg – “REDLIGHT”

“I feel like I’m a giant but I’m 5’8″. I feel more defiant when y’all hate. Y’all the only ni**as runnin’ in the car race. Serve a ni**a with the butter like parquet. Rap ni**as all soft, so strange. I’m a little bit of ‘Pac, a bit of Kanye. You a little bit of Fox and Beyoncé. Any beef come to me get sautéed.” – lyrics

The dynamic electronic-meets-hip hop tune opens with dark orchestral sounds which evokes a dystopian reality.

The accompanying audiovisual directed by Shomi Patwary finds NGHTMRE & A$AP Ferg as leaders of a post-apocalyptic gang of resurrected rebels.

‘REDLIGHT’ contains a relatable storyline, witty lyrics, and boomin’ instrumentation flavored with thunderous sound effects and heavy basslines.

“A$AP Ferg is one of the hip hop icons I’ve always dreamed of working with. It took a lot of time and effort to really make this record come together. But throughout the process, I’ve gained even more respect for Ferg and his vision. Throughout the shoot, Ferg was on-site, giving new ideas and feedback. It was an honor to be able to create a piece of art with this legend.” – NGHTMRE
