Mia Mi is an up-and-coming singer-songwriter based in North London. Not too long ago, she released an uplifting debut single, entitled, “Talk to Me”.
Mia Mi – “Talk to Me”
“‘Talk To Me’ stemmed from the taboo topic of talking about mental health. It’s something that I hold very close and it affects both women and men everywhere. I wanted to create a song which was truthful but also warming, something that would make people check up on their friends and loved ones to make people feel safe. Talking allows you to find answers and it opens up your mind to new possibilities.” – Mia Mi
‘Talk to Me’ tells an inspiring tale of a young woman who puts her valuable time aside just so she can be a shoulder for others to lean on. The mere fact that’s she’s willing to listen and encourage people who are going through the trenches of direness is commendable.
‘Talk to Me’ tackles the subject of mental health and addresses some of the issues facing today’s society. Also, the ear-welcoming tune was produced by Drifta and co-written by rising R&B star J Elle.

“My love for singing grew along with my desire to inspire people and I want to be able to tell my stories from the perspective of a young British female in today’s world.” – Mia Mi
At the age of 10-years-old, Mia Mi won a local singing competition. Shortly afterward, she enrolled at London’s Centre for Young Musicians and then graduated from the critically acclaimed Brit School.
