Max & Lamour – “I’m Not Lonely” single

“Left my phone home, I just need some silence. Let’s get lost on the road and put on some mileage. Drive for a mile, I don’t know what I’ve been running from all my life. But I know I’ve got you on my passenger’s side. I need to tell myself that I’m not lonely, thankful for all my friends that I’m not lonely. ‘Cause I used to be screaming her name, oh baby, come hold me.” – lyrics

‘I’m Not Lonely’ finds an appreciative Max & Lamour being thankful that they have friends that they can rely on. The endearing tune contains a relatable narrative, ear-pleasing vocalizations, and uplifting melodies. Also, the song possesses guitar-driven instrumentation flavored with indie-pop and alternative-rock elements. Furthermore, “I’m Not Lonely” serves as a tasty appetizer to what listeners can expect to hear on Max & Lamour’s new EP, entitled, “I’m Not Lonely.”

“Don’t know what I’ve been running from all my life, but I know I’ve got you with me tonight.”

“We wrote this song while on a vacation to the beach with our friends during the COVID-19 pandemic. We use actual audio clips from that weekend in the song as an homage to our friends, who remind us that we’re not alone during isolating times.” – Max & Lamour explained

Max & Lamour write and record music in their bedrooms before releasing it on the internet. They hope to inspire hope in a vulnerable and familiar way. Some of their biggest influences include Ed Sheeran, Julia Michaels, Dan & Shay, OneRepublic, and Shawn Mendes.
