margø – “Someday” single
“Someday, you’ll know that you messed up. Can’t replicate this love, even if you tried. Chalk this one up as a lesson. You can still pretend but I’ll stay on your mind. Someday, when we’re older, you’ll wish that you had changed. Still, wonder what we could be. Oh, but you let me go. Oh, now you’ll never know.” – lyrics
‘Someday’ tells a bittersweet tale of a young woman who experiences the heartache of being let go by her significant other.
Apparently, she loved and worshipped this individual like an idol. But, somehow, losing their companionship made her stronger and optimistic about the future.

“‘Someday’ is about finding the inner strength to leave a relationship where you were taken for granted, and knowing that someday the other person will have deep regrets for letting you go. It’s about knowing your worth, recognizing the type of love you deserve and finding closure in your own happiness. I produced the song with Robbie Townsend and Randor Lin at Velveteen Audio. It was the most fun I’ve had recording a song so far. We used a box of children’s toys to record a lot of the background percussion and a couple of my friends joined me to record group vocals for the chorus.” – margø
