Loviet is a rising singer-songwriter from Canada. Not too long ago, she released an emotive pop single, titled, “Broken Lips.”

“Merciless, I shoulda called it quits. But you can take ‘em with just your fists. Broken lips, I wasn’t holding this the way I should have been. I should relish in all the good we’re doing but my pessimistic heart was set for ruin. How are we gonna make it? Breath is bated and already falling apart.” – lyrics
‘Broken Lips’ tells a heartfelt tale about a young woman who realizes that something she is holding on to is falling apart. Apparently, someone who she is with doesn’t treat her well and that pushes her to feel unworthy at times. Later, she tells this person, “You made me feel worthless for no reason. And the voice in my head said I deserve it, and I just believed it.”
‘Broken Lips’ contains a relatable narrative and pleasing vocals. The likable tune possesses guitar-laden instrumentation flavored with electro and alternative pop elements. Furthermore, “Broken Lips” is the lead single from Loviet’s upcoming EP, entitled, “The Nighttime Is All In The Timing,” produced in collaboration with Now, Now (Bradley Hale and Cacie Dalager).
“I don’t wanna stay here. But no matter where I end up it’s in your harm.”
“I feel such a connection to this new music, unlike any of my previous releases. It feels like I’m sharing a new part of myself that only the people closest to me really know. There is a power and rawness coming from this project and ‘Broken Lips’ sets the stage.” – Loviet explained
As new music rolls out, Loviet is hitting the road to support the Morcheeba band in select Canadian markets. Also, she will be performing at festivals such as Future Echoes in Sweden, ST-RochXP in Quebec, and hitting NY/LA, UK, and Scandinavian regions on tour. It’s going to be an exciting year and Loviet can’t wait to share new music.
