Lord Fess – “Stress” music video
“Really you’re not in the way, you know my brain a little off. I know you’re going through lots, you put the food in the pots. I’m too busy chasing the chase to see that I’m losing you. All of my tatts on you, all of my stats on you. All of my scratch on you, all of them packs on you, all of the stress on you.” – lyrics
‘Stress’ tells an urban tale of a young Black man who shares a challenging relationship with his significant other. Apparently, he’s stressing his lady out so much that oftentimes he has to spend nights sleeping on a desolate couch. Even though he’s trying his best to make ends meet for them, that doesn’t eradicate the fact that her stress level is extremely high and rising.
‘Stress’ contains a relatable narrative, niche cadence, and harmonious vocals. Also, the likable tune possesses melodic instrumentation scented with a contemporary rap aroma. Furthermore, “Stress” serves as a wonderful presentation to what listeners can expect to hear on Lord Fess’s “Rebellion” EP.
“Fess’s music is full of self-reflection, social commentary, anger, and confidence.”
