“‘Deserve It’ came together faster than any other song I’ve written. I just picked up the guitar and this melody instantly popped into my head. We aimed to capture that Californian summer feeling in a love story about the perfect love. You do everything for this person and can’t imagine anything other than spending time together. At the same time, you wonder what you’ve done to deserve this happiness. It’s also about realizing not to take this love and intimacy for granted, but to always be aware of one’s good fortune.” – Levent Geiger explained
‘Deserve It’ is a carefree love song packed with heartwarming melodies and ear-pleasing vocals. The song was co-written by Nick Lopez (Demi Lovato, Kygo, R3hab) and Joshua Murty (Luis Fonsi, Nicky Youre, Ryan Ellis) this past summer in a writing session in Los Angeles. Furthermore, “Deserve It” follows the success of “Look At Me Now,” “Bad Days,” and “2 Dumb Kids” singles.
