“I don’t have China plates or a welcome mat. I don’t own any art to hang for guests to marvel at. Bathroom towels are not for me. And pillows on the sofa seats have never been a thing I thought I’d need. So what makes a house a home? Did you know, did you know? That there’s nothin’ in this world I’d rather do than spend my time runnin’ around with you.” – lyrics

‘Home Is Where You Are’ tells a heartfelt tale of a cowgirl who shares a budding relationship with her significant other. Apparently, she’s wherever her companion is (e.g., California, Texas, Tennessee, Talladega, Tampa, Telluride). Later, she reveals that her partner is more important than the material things in her life.

The Forrest Weber-directed audiovisual captures Lauren Jaimes performing alongside her boot-shuffling dance crew.
