Laraw (Lara Rawadi) is a Montréal-born singer-songwriter of Moroccan and Lebanese origins. Not too long ago, she released a music video for her “Pretty Necklace” single.

The Alex Pelletier-directed audiovisual begins with Laraw, a woman of character, riding a bicycle.
She’s funny, a badass, and energetic. Later, she entertains a tight-knit group of friends at a pop-up BBQ hosted by her father.
After losing her job, she decides to help out the family business. Also, never letting an opportunity go to waste, the video doubles as a makeshift commercial for her dad’s garage.

Laraw picked up the guitar and pen at the age of fifteen to fight depression and lingering suicidal thoughts.
She hopes to become an outlet for listeners who struggle with those same issues.
Also, she wants to empower them to find the tools needed to conquer their own demons.
Currently, Laraw is working with mentor and producer Tim Buron (Charlotte Cardin, Nate Husser, Rednext Level, Loud).
Initially, she was on track for a career in the video game industry. But she elected to lean to her nerdy side and study music production and sound design.

‘Pretty Necklace’ contains a relatable storyline and harmonious vocals. Also, the likable tune possesses melodic instrumentation flavored with contemporary R&B and indie-trap elements.
