Kristina Murrell is a 20-year-old up-and-coming singer-songwriter from Bridgetown, Barbados. Not too long ago, she released an attractive lyric video for her “Is It Real” single.

‘Is It Real’ tells a heartfelt tale about a young woman who wants to be on the same page with her significant other. Apparently, she needs her companion to prove his love for her because actions speak louder than words. Later, she hopes her partner can be what she needs in life because that’s the only way they can work.
‘Is It Real’ contains a relationship-based narrative, ear-welcoming vocals, and harmony-driven melodies. The sensual tune possesses melodic instrumentation flavored with a warm contemporary R&B aroma. Kristina Murrell relocated to the United States at the age of 15 to pursue her education. During that time, she recognized her musical potential while taking a choir class. Not too long after, Sonny King (an American record producer/songwriter) discovered Murrell’s natural talent during an audition for Music For Love (a record label and charity organization). Once the connection was made, Murrell began working with King at his recording studio in Greensboro, North Carolina. Murrell currently has a record deal in place with Music For Love and a production deal with Music By King Inc.
Not too long ago, Murrell admitted that she receives creative inspiration from a number of artists including fellow Barbados-born superstar, Rihanna. In addition to her musical pursuits, Murrell has a successful modeling career, studies business in college, and has accumulated a growing and loyal fanbase. Therefore, it’s safe to say that she is positively positioning herself as an artist-to-watch in the ever-fashionable R&B realm.
