Kemper Sisters (Shelby and Kelsy Kemper) is a sister duo from Southern California. Not too long ago, they released a lyric video for their debut single, entitled, “Phase”.
Kemper Sisters – “Phase”
“Why do I feel so alone when you are holding me? Why does it feel so wrong when you say we’re meant to be? I feel myself fading. Our love put me in a haze. I think I need some space. Maybe, it’s just a phase.” – lyrics
‘Phase’ tells a bittersweet tale of a young woman who is in a relationship with someone who she no longer feels an emotional attachment to.
Apparently, their relationship is at its tail end, and with each fading moment, she reminisces of happier times even though things are getting worse.
‘Phase’ contains a relatable storyline, introspective lyrics, and lush instrumentation flavored with indie-pop and alternative elements.
