‘Peaches’ tells an evergreen tale of a young guy who finds beauty in doing the right thing. Apparently, he’s learning more about being human and treating others the way he wants to be treated. Later, he suggests that listeners should give love if they desire to receive love.

“Initially, I came up with the hook at the end of the chorus. ‘Giving love you get a little bit back’ and realized this line would be the capstone to a song pointing out some of the aspects of life that I find sweet. After that, it was just about being honest. I got the line sweet cream on peaches from desert one night at a friend’s house. They served the most delicious peaches and cream and I was like ‘my mind is blown right now’ ha-ha. It took me a long time to come to grips about having the word ‘peach’ in a song. It just sounded funny at first and then I was like, ‘Well, I mean it. Peaches and cream are amazing. Peaches it is!’” – John Brazell
John Brazell loves transforming a room with melody and spirit. With his easy-going demeanor, he’s most likely to take the stage wearing a T-shirt and jeans, and very little pretense of being anything other than a guy who likes singing songs.
