“Blacker the berry, the sweeter the model. Me tell you that your honey is sweeter than what’s in the bottle. They’ll never tell you that your melanin is really your power. And you came first from the creator, this world use to be ours. But holy, when I’m on the scene with my Black queen, love the white toes with them black jeans. Stripes with the shell toes, girl, you so fly. When you throw them heels on I’m like, oh my. You young, Black, and gifted, girl, you all three. Cocoa butter skin tone, rub it on me.” – lyrics

‘Black Queen’ tells a charming tale about a young guy who shares a special relationship with a Black woman. Apparently, she’s making major moves, and getting money, while trying her hardest to finish school on a high note. Also, she wants to get married, so he suggests they have their honeymoon in Dubai. Later, he sincerely tells her, “Mahogany, I’ll give you all of me. Even your flaws seem flawless, you everything you outta be.” After a few quiet seconds, he continues, “I never seen nothing more beautiful with my two eyes.”

‘Black Queen’ contains a relatable narrative, storytelling raps, and tuneful melodies. The likable tune possesses rhythmic drum-laden instrumentation flavored with afrobeats, reggae, and hip-hop elements. Furthermore, “Black Queen” serves as a tasty appetizer to what listeners can expect to hear from J.Clancy and S.I.E. in the near future as they continue to release new music.
