Jade The Moon – “Don’t Wait Up” music video
“Watch as the river parts. Where it ends and where it starts. I know that you want it more. I’m so unavailable. Don’t wait up for me. We’re not the people we used to be.” – lyrics
‘Don’t Wait Up’ tells a heartfelt tale of a woman who makes a conscious decision that it’s over between her and her significant other.
Apparently, she has made up her mind that it makes no sense to go back to their failed relationship because she doesn’t feel the same way anymore.
Therefore, she decides not to go over to where her ex is, even though he is having a hard time letting go of her love.
‘Don’t Wait Up’ tells a relatable storyline, pleasing vocals, and tuneful melodies. The likable tune possesses melodic instrumentation scented with an alternative-pop aroma. Also, the song is featured on Jade The Moon’s 6-song EP, entitled, “11:11”.
“If you Wikipedia ’11:11′ you’ll find a couple of theories about the significance and meaning behind seeing the numbers. Some believe that events linked to the time ’11:11′ appear more often than can be explained by chance or coincidence and symbolize synchronicity with the universe. As a band, and this is not a stretch of the truth, we seem to see these numbers in waves. We will go months without noticing the digits. Then all of a sudden, we start seeing ’11:11′ again on clocks, on building, numbers, etc. We think it means we are on the right path.” – Jade The Moon via Vents Magazine
