“Still can’t process what’s going on in the world. Everyone else is feeling crazy rn, right?? We were feeling pretty claustrophobic with the COVID lockdown when we wrote this. When the world is chaotic and you’re being forced to stay isolated, it’s easy to feel like you’re alone. Also, it’s really easy for us to be super hard on ourselves anyway. But with all this going on, it emphasized our self-criticism. This song’s just about wanting to be happy, but not really knowing how to do that in a healthy way.
