Hey Violet releases an appealing music video for their “Party Girl” single

Hey Violet is a pop band founded by sisters, Rena and Nia Lovelis, and friend, Casey Moreta. Not too long ago, they released an appealing music video for their “Party Girl” single. The stunning video contains bright, pastels and sunshine by day and deep black sadness by night.

‘Party Girl’ is an ode to a devastatingly empty lifestyle. The relevant tune contains a relatable narrative, ear-pleasing vocals, and tuneful melodies that will resonate well with Lauv and The 1975 fans. Also, “Party Girl” possesses guitar-laden instrumentation flavored with contemporary and alternative-pop elements. Furthermore, “Party Girl” follows mildly on the heels of Hey Violet’s debut EP, entitled, “Problems.” Plus, the song is a perfect first taste of the direction that the trio is moving in.

“We love pop music that has a somber nostalgia to it. We really cultivated our sound which laid a great foundation for what we’re doing now, and we’re not afraid to experiment.” – Rena Lovelis stated

Hey Violet has achieved two Teen Choice Awards, IHeart Radio Music Award, and a Radio Disney Music Award. They have shared the stage with 5SOS and had stints with Hi or Hey Records and Capitol. Also, Hey Violet’s sound places them in line with contemporaries like The 1975, Dua Lipa, and Billie Eilish. Plus, the band is poised to make waves like never before, establishing themselves as one of pop’s most exciting acts to watch in 2021.
