Hero The Band is an indie-pop/rock outfit out of Atlanta, Georgia. Not too long ago, they released a music video for “Lab Rat”, a poppin’ rock tune from their “Heroshima” EP.
Hero The Band – “Lab Rat”
The Sam Green-directed video shows the band performing inside a dim-lit environment. Also, their energy is high to the ceiling as they roam around letting their spirits run wild.
‘Lab Rat’ contains an abstract narrative, likable melodies, and an in-your-face instrumentation fueled with electro-rock, pop, and R&B elements.
Hero The Band
“It may seem as though every hero has a quest. Some save princesses from fire-breathing dragons, while others save the world from adversaries determined to cause destruction. Hero The Band’s quest is to touch and inspire lives through their musical talents and sound.”
Hero The Band consists of four blood brothers who grew up singing in church. In 2008, they performed at various clubs and talent shows in Atlanta. By 2010, Hero The Band was formed.
Their musical influences include Queen, Cold Play, Take 6, Boyz II Men, The Temptations, The Beatles, Elton John, Jimi Hendrix, Earth, Wind & Fire, U2, Prince, and Lenny Kravitz. Also, they have performed at the Masquerade, Phillip’s Arena (singing the National Anthem for the Hawks), and opened for Mother’s Finest.
