Hazel releases a heartfelt contemporary R&B tune, entitled, “Daylight”

Hazel is a 20-year-old singer-songwriter from Norway. Not too long ago, she released a heartfelt contemporary R&B tune, entitled, “Daylight”.

Hazel – “Daylight”

“I´ll be your poison baby if you need me to. I’ll be your heartache but that’s all I do. I will be the water baby to your thirsty heart. But don’t you blame me when I tear you apart. ‘Cause words can be deceiving and I’ll leave you out here heaving ‘cause your breath belongs to me.” – lyrics

‘Daylight’ tells a sensual tale of a young woman who wants to experience pleasure from her boyfriend’s pain.

Apparently, it’s nighttime and she desires to enter his sinful mind and pleasurable heart. Also, she wants him to do what needs to be done before daylight appears.

‘Daylight’ contains a relatable storyline, ear-welcoming vocals, and lush instrumentation flavored with chill vibrations.

“That flirt that turns into an addiction. For the first time, it’s not the guy running the show. It’s clear she’s aware of her own ability to turn things into dust in just a blink of an eye.” – Hazel

Hazel’s biggest musical inspiration is Alicia Keys. Eight years ago, via MTV, she viewed an audiovisual of Keys’ “Fallin’” single.

Shortly afterward, she realized what she wanted to do. Since then she has written a lot of songs.

We recommend adding Hazel’s “Daylight” single to your personal playlist. Also, let us know how you feel about it in the comment section below.
