Gavriel (born Phillip Reichmann) is an up-and-coming singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from New York. Not too long ago, he released a heartfelt indie-pop tune, entitled, “Anxious.”

‘Anxious’ contains a relatable narrative, ear-pleasing vocals, and tuneful melodies that will resonate well with fans of Michael Bublé, Ed Sheeran, and Lewis Capaldi. The likable tune possesses guitar-laden instrumentation flavored with indie-pop and classic-rock undertones. Furthermore, “Anxious” is featured on Gavriel’s brand-new EP, entitled, “Hold On to Let Go.” The six-song project was produced by Richie Canata (saxophone player for Billy Joel at Cove City Sound Studios where influential records by Joel, Marc Anthony, and Celine Dion were created).

The youngest of six brothers, 23-year-old Gavriel grew up listening to classic rock greats like The Beatles, Eric Clapton, and Led Zeppelin. He doesn’t remember a time when music wasn’t a significant part of his life. Gavriel started playing piano at the age of four and has since mastered the guitar, drums, and ukulele as well. An Orthodox Jew, Gavriel spent much of the last five years of his life studying Talmudic law in Israel.
A lifelong musician, Gavriel began writing original music in September of 2019 after being inspired by his recent marriage. When he’s not writing or performing live, Gavriel can be found hiking, traveling, and volunteering with organizations that assist children with chronic illnesses.
