Family of Things releases a music video for their “Harm” single

Family of Things is an indie-rock band based in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. Not too long ago, they released a music video for their “Harm” single.

“‘Harm’ is a song of recognition—recognizing the people and the things in our lives that break us down, fracture our identity, and doing nothing about it. Why do we let people in who do us harm?” – Family of Things

‘Harm’ will be featured on Family of Things’ upcoming debut LP, entitled, “Oscilloscope”.

The likable tune contains a relatable storyline, ear-welcoming vocals, and vibey instrumentation flavored with an indie-alternative aroma.

“Loving you is gonna do me harm but I don’t give a damn and I’ll continue to carry on.”

Family of Things consists of Brad Barnham (musical theory-composition graduate, choral conductor) and Aaron Brown (jazz performance graduate, producer, and drummer).

The bubbly duo has been a collaborative sorority since 2012, working on a variety of projects and refining their sound.

Since then, they have worked closely with producer Peter Mol (Zerbin). The three have been busy with multiple licensing and publishing monikers created in partnership with Mol’s Hollywood-based publisher, Secret Road.

We recommend adding Family of Things’ “Harm” single to your personal playlist. Also, let us know how you feel about it in the comment section below.
