Emily Kate – “The Whole Time” single
‘The Whole Time’ is about going out with friends and meeting someone who takes your breath away. A twist on the common saying, “You had me at hello,” this song is about someone having you “the whole time.”
‘The Whole Time’ contains a relationship-based narrative, ear-pleasing vocalization, and tuneful melodies. The charming tune possesses vibrant instrumentation flavored with a wonderful country-pop vibration. Furthermore, “The Whole Time” serves as a tasty appetizer to what listeners can expect to hear on Emily Kate’s debut EP, entitled, “All In,” which reveals a strong-willed female artist aiming to impact the lives of current and future fans. The project was produced by CMAO-nominated Producer of the Year, Shawn Moore.
“You had me at hello”
“I want to be able to say something with my music. For people to connect with themselves and feel inspired when they listen. While also having fun.” –Emily Kate stated
Emily Kate’s love for music started at a very young age. Her musical influences include Taylor Swift, Keith Urban, Kelsea Ballerini, and Danielle Bradberry. Her music draws from real-life experiences and bridges the gap between country and pop with her unique sound and lyrical storytelling. While studying in school, Kate worked hard on her true passion between classes, and busked at a local farmers market. Also, she found the time to write songs that are now featured on her EP.
