Eliza Spear releases a heartfelt country tune, entitled, “Tea”

Eliza Spear is an up-and-coming singer-songwriter based in Los Angeles, CA. Not too long ago, she released a heartfelt country tune, entitled, “Tea”.

Eliza Spear – “Tea” single

“I’m so used to turning away, but I’m fine. I’m so used to young rude guys, but not this time. Pour me a cup of tea, I’ll stay awhile. My cheeks flushed red as I drive every mile. To my home, but it’s weird because you are my home. And if I say I don’t love you know that I’m lying. I laugh so hard I forget that I’m trying.” – lyrics

“Tea” tells a charming tale of an uncertain young woman who decides not to run away from love.

Apparently, she’s always there to help others, but now she realizes it’s time to take care of herself.

“This ain’t like my past, I’m gonna make this love last.”

“I was thinking about how amazing it would be if falling in love with yourself and other people was as simple as making a cup of tea. My mind went racing and then this song was created. If only it was that easy.” – Eliza Spear

‘Tea’ follows on the heels of Eliza Spear’s previously released tune, entitled, “Morning”. Both songs are featured on her 5-track project, entitled, “The Pineapple EP”.

“Loving yourself should be just as easy as making a cup of tea.”
