deM atlaS – “Bad Loves Company”
“I’ll be sitting on a stoop watching the world go by. I’m halfway finished with my life sentence. Not looking for repentance, just looking for some escapism. 12 o’clock in this realm where everybody at? Everybody half dead, I ask my soul leave my body and body is hollow. Middle fingers up, don’t give a f*ck about living for tomorrow” – lyrics
The Bram Vandermark-directed video finds deM atlaS holding a wired microphone while performing in a dark area. The artist’s musical influences include The Pharcyde, Bad Brains, Sarah McLachlan, and Kanye West.
