D-Anna is a 19-year-old singer-songwriter from Moscow, Russia. Not too long ago, she released an impressive debut single, entitled, “Not Today”.

‘Not Today’ tells a bittersweet tale about a young woman who shares a problematic relationship with her significant other. To cope, she looks within for the strength to one day spread her wings and fly away to a place where she doesn’t feel stuck. While there, she imagines her companion desiring for her to come back home.
‘Not Today’ contains a relationship-based narrative, ear-welcoming vocals, and harmonious melodies. Also, the charming tune possesses vibrant instrumentation flavored with a nostalgic, contemporary pop aroma. Furthermore, “Not Today” serves as a wonderful presentation of what listeners can expect to hear from D-Anna in the near future as she begins her claim to modern-day fame.

“‘Not Today’ is about letting go of the toxic environments, people, and situations. Letting go of what doesn’t serve you anymore. It’s about freedom and love that exists beyond ego issues. It’s about self-respect and self-value. Also, it’s about mental health and the importance of self-love especially now, in the midst of a global pandemic.” – D-Anna stated
D-Anna has been writing and releasing music since she was nine-years-old. In 2015, after winning four competitions with silver and gold medals in her hometown (Moscow), she decided to participate in a World Championships Of Performing Arts’ competition in L.A. She came back home with three silver medals for singing and two golden ones for modeling. In June 2017, she discovered Berklee College of Music and went to a Berklee summer program (“Vocal Summit”). After spending two weeks on campus, she decided to apply to receive higher education at Berklee institution. Since then, the artist-to-watch has been developing her sound and musical identity.
