“Found you in the trash huddled in the corner across from me. You held out your hand, told me not to be frightened. You explained how we been thrown away so I let you take me home. This may be killing us but at least it kills the pain. If I could soak up all the black, I would soak up all the black.” – lyrics

‘All the Black’ contains a gloomy storyline, velvet vocals, and bluesy instrumentation flavored with easy-going drums and moody guitar.

Cat Clyde is making waves in the music scene with her unique sound, which is a mixture of contemporary and classic sounds of yesteryear. Since the release of her 2017 debut album, entitled, “Ivory Castanets”, she has been on a roll.

The much-traveled entertainer wrapped up tours supporting Paul Kelly and ZZ Ward across North America. Also, she shared the stage with Detroit’s renowned singer-songwriter, Rodriguez (of acclaimed documentary, Searching For Sugarman), rocked a sold-out tour in Europe with Shakey Graves, and her first headline run across Canada.

Her musical influences include Etta James, Janis Joplin, and Lead Belly. Also, her music peaked at 340K+ monthly listeners on Spotify, with tracks featured on 96,000 Spotify playlists worldwide.
