“Let me warn you, girl. Don’t be blinded by pretty words, I’ve been there before. Waiting around when I should’ve been out the door. ‘Cause if there’s one thing that I’ve learned is that ‘I’m sorry’s’ need a limit. And it’s not worth your time to just stay and put up with it. A better man will come along and you’ll forget the one that did ya wrong.” – lyrics

‘Pretty Words’ contains a relatable storyline, conscious lyrics, and rich harmonies. Also, the likable tune possesses acoustic-laden instrumentation flavored with alternative-folk, country, and Americana elements.

“This song has a crazy story. I wrote it about a guy I dated three years ago who ended up being one of the final four contestants on Hannah Brown’s ‘Season of the Bachelorette’ and the most hated. Yep, Luke P.” – Casey Noel

Casey Noel’s timeless, captivating music will remind you of the many ways songs can enrich a life. A skilled singer-songwriter crystallizes the grace of a moment, honors and beautifies sadness, gives wings to something tender, something fun, something longing for flight. Furthermore, “Pretty Words” serves as a wonderful introduction to what listeners can hear on Casey Noel’s Americana-tinged debut EP, entitled, “Not Just Pretty Words”.
