BurrLin – “Back in Town” music video
“All of my ni^^as is Haitian, Nigerian, Jamaican. From Ghana, Guyana, Grenadian. Lay low & avoid immigration. Make sure they don’t know your location & stay on the run like the Ravens. Big Truss, the foundation. Cash money compensation. Sleep deprivation, won’t go to sleep till I work toward my dream. That’s dedication. When it takes off you going to know what I mean. I’m tryna find me a Nubian Queen or a Latina Peruvian thing. Going to dinner for Asian cuisine. Everything Black but the whip European.” – lyrics
‘Back in Town’ tells an urban tale of a young guy who falls in love with a woman who he met during a recent vacation trip. Apparently, she’s a brown-sugar like Sanaa Lathan, and in no time, things get pretty steamy between them. However, he has to return home, therefore he tells her, “Keep it tight ’til I’m back in town.”
‘Back in Town’ contains a relatable storyline, meaningful rap lyrics, and harmonious melodies. Also, the likable tune possesses guitar-driven instrumentation scented with a contemporary rap aroma. Furthermore, “Back in Town” is featured on BurrLin’s second mixtape, entitled, “Growth Zone 2”.
“We Looking like J.Lo & Diddy, Faith & Biggie, Boog & Nipsey”
