Brunswick is a young London-based alternative/pop artist. Not too long ago, he released a music video for his “medication” single.

Brunswick – “medication”

“Lost all my money in the casino again. I feel American with these dead presidents. I really need my medication. ” – lyrics

The video finds Brunswick medicated inside a lit party. The next morning he wakes up looking for pills, which he finds inside a face basin. He takes some pills, and the next scene finds him clumsily driving a vehicle, which signifies that his life has completely spiraled out of control. Miraculously, he reaches his destination, which is his homeboy’s crib. There, they share a hefty blunt with another friend.

The following scene finds them at the place Brunswick partied at the night before. Also, the dance floor is jam-packed as expected. A few hours later, when drugs are flowing inside their veins, they exit to a private after-party on a building’s rooftop, where more blunts are smoked. In the end, Brunswick ends up cuddling with a new chick.

‘medication’ highlights Brunswick’s recent break-up. Therefore, to keep his mind off of that grim situation, he uses drugs as an escape to heal his broken heart. 💔

“This song is a reflection of my personal experiences in 2017. I’d broke up with my ex, I was self-medicating, eating next to nothing and sleeping in studios. I was heavily depressed and this is what I wrote as my antidote. The words are very much an acceptance of my own feelings.” – Brunswick
