ARITA releases visuals for her “Love Sick” single featuring CHAM

ARITA is a New York-based reggae singer. Not too long ago, she released a music video for “Love Sick”, the title track from her debut EP featuring CHAM.

ARITA – “Love Sick” feat. CHAM

“I’m fascinated by love. The many moods of love. The heartaches, the heartbreaks, and the good side. The bad side, the forever and ever, and the abuse. The make-ups and the break-ups. I’m a bona-fide love junkie, addict, and dealer—all in one. So the name captures it all. I’m love sick!” – ARITA

The Russell Santos-directed video was influenced by the style, fashion, and consciousness of the Harlem Renaissance (1918 until the mid-1930). It finds the artists performing inside an elegant ballroom in front of a festive crowd.

ARITA’s music was inspired by the soulful voices of Etta James, Aretha Franklin, and Nina Simone. Her “Love Sick” single bridges generations, time-periods, and cultures. Also, its sound is a mixture of big band meets contemporary reggae.
