Apparently, it’s too late for her to travel there, so she suggests he finds another woman to satisfy his salacious appetite. Later, she tells him, “Listen, I’ve been thinking, we shouldn’t be linking. Feelings for you shrinking; should have known from the beginning, boy, you f******* tripping. Leave me alone, you a lame for that. Don’t pull up anywhere that I’m at.”
‘Corny Texts’ contains a relatable narrative and ear-pleasing vocals that will resonate well with fans of Kehlani and Sky Amani. The likable tune possesses melodic drum-and-bass-laden instrumentation flavored with trap, drill, and urban R&B elements. Furthermore, “Corny Texts” is a slightly different sound than Angelyse Mariah’s prior releases, showing more of her edgy personality.
