Angela Nashed – “Mercy Mercy Me” music video
“I was sitting at home one day and this song popped in my head. It’s one of my favorite songs so I just started singing it a cappella, and adding harmonies. I liked the vibe that it had so I brought it to my producer and we just went to work on it from there. We focused on bringing out the emotion that was in that initial demo, and this is what came out.” – Angela Nashed
Angela Nashed’s “Mercy, Mercy Me” cover is slowed down and stripped of its original up-tempo, fuller instrumentation.
The likable rendition contains a relatable storyline, ear-welcoming vocals, and tuneful melodies. Also, it possesses saxophone-laden instrumentation scented with a contemporary jazz ‘n’ R&B aroma.
“Mercy Mercy Me”
“Intimate, exuberant, and soft, Angela’s sound seamlessly moves across emotional and mental states. At times moving you to dance, and at other times, moving you to tears. Whichever way she wants to take you, you’ll be thankful that you went with her. Also, anyone looking for a spiritual experience without wanting to go to church can find a mix of soulful introspection and joyful reverie in her fun and thoughtful sound.”
Angela Nashed is a name you should remember and an exciting new artist to watch. Her music creates a meditation on earthly destruction that hopes for our reflection and connection.
