‘Let Go’ tells the tale of a young woman who wants her significant other to let go of thoughts of the past.
What she wants most is to lay down next to her sweetheart while drowning out the sound outside.
‘Let Go’ contains a relatable storyline, ear-welcoming vocals, and melodic instrumentation scented with a contemporary R&B aroma.

“‘Let Go’ is a futuristic R&B song about letting go of your mind when you’re feeling the pressure of time and ambition. It’s a deeply personal song because I’ve spent much of my life chasing ambition, which often keeps me from feeling truly alive. The song is strongly influenced by The Weeknd, interlacing a soft, falsetto vocal over cinematic production with heavy synths to create depth and suspense. The inner conflict comes to a peak during the bridge, which resembles an old music box, adding an eerie element while representing time passing.” – SISI
SISI was born in Massachusetts and raised in the Bay Area. Her sound is inspired by Drake, Mariah Carey, Christina Aguilera, Frank Ocean, The Weeknd, Rihanna, and Beyoncé.
As a songwriter, her music explores the downfalls of ego, ambition, and hedonistic self-indulgence.
‘Let Go’ is featured on her self-titled debut EP, which represents a break from her past work, and embraces a darker, more introspective sound.
